Here's something my Fullmetal Alchemist fan friends will appreciate:

So, why did all those wikitards make their way over to TVTropes and try to condense all the articles into hell? One of the fun things about the site is being able to read the examples and the blurbs! Without them, what the hell is the point of TVTropes? Christ.

So, I just watched an episode of Sit Down, Shut Up. Enjoyed it. Shame the show was cancelled.

I hate it when animated programs don't get a chance. Mission Hill, Oblongs, Dilbert... Hell, even Futurama and Family Guy got screwed over when they aired primetime on FOX. I remember being pretty upset when I was eleven and Futurama kept getting switched in the schedule or pre-empted due to football games.

But yeah... There's a lot I wish I could do in my life right now. Unfortunately, I can't. I just hope circumstances change for me in the future.

So...has anyone noticed how lj_spotlight has been causing more harm than good? I usually like taking a look at what's shown there in the livejournal home page because some of the comms like thrifthorror and color_theory are really awesome and deserve to be shown off.

But often, these communities are hit by notorious spammers like dailyfoodie did (the comm got spammed with 4,000 entries in a row). Then when they spotlight actual users like hinoai, they end up getting too many people friending them and then they are unable to friend everyone back.

I guess there's always good with bad when it comes to stuff like this. But jesus, some trolls have no lives. Seriously? 4,000 entries?

To celebrate both Halloween AND P3P's release tomorrow, I shall show everyone a scene that should have been in the original Persona 3. MANGA TIME!

It's been over a month since I last updated this dusty old thing.

A lot's happened, much of it personal. The main gist is, well, I am enjoying my new apartment and roommates. I'm in the process of getting a more permanent job. Hopefully, I'll accomplish that much! Next up would be completing my studies.

Fandom-wise, I did create bitofpinkandred, a community for Persona 3's PSP remake. And I've been tentatively adding stuff to fancomiccentral.

I've also been into Sailor Moon recently, having joined sailormoonfans and undergoing an archive binge there. Did you know the senshi were originally intended to look like...THIS:




I remember posting this at my old Greatestjournal and got some interesting reaction.

At Wal*Mart today, I bought something really awesome.



Tech Deck mini skateboard toys of a series called 'Hook-ups' (>.>) which are anime influenced. Some of these are obvious rip-offs, including one resembling Princess Hinoto and Gene Starwind, whose face is partially scarred for some reason. Kinda wanted to share that.

Honestly, I've been having a real tough time. Not stuff I want to write about here, but it's monetary related. I have been doing very well at my new apartment and I hope it stays that way for the rest of my time here.

Marvel Adventures Spider-man is pretty cool. I've read it off-and-on for a while. But now I'm tempted to start picking it up regularly. Runaways is going under and I need to collect something new. Gwen Stacy's intro to MA is one major reason to get me to want to follow this. I've always adored her, maybe even more than Mary Jane Watson (even though I think her relationship/marriage to Peter was a better route to go through).
